Stem Cell Sciences – Stem cell lines on an industrial scale for drug discovery
Profile: Listed on AIM and ASX in Australia, SCS is one of the first, if not the first, organisation with the R&D know-how to develop a range of derived stem cells for use on a commercial and industrial scale. When Saffron was asked to help, the website and sales collateral had not been updated to represent the company’s transition from its research and development beginnings into a commercial organisation.
Challenge: Create more commercially-focused messaging and articulate clearly the products and services that had evolved since the first web site was created.
Method: Saffron proactivley created the structure and initial copy for the web site to minimise the demands on time-pressured executives and deliver success in short timescales. Design work was consistently applied in tandem to other marketing collateral to guarantee through-the-line message consistency.
Result: A new strapline, a solutions’ and product-focused website, designed and developed in 7 weeks. Saffron also changed and simplified the web development platform, took on the hosting and maintenance of the site, taking advantage of a low-cost, open-source server platform.
